Brash
COCC, Monaco
2025
Project info / Insight:
Champagne & Oyster Cycling Club of Monaco (COCC) is an annual charity ride supporting the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. Each year, riders take on the journey from St. Tropez to Monaco, raising vital funds for these causes.
Challenge / Idea:
COCC wanted to revisit its brand identity and give it a fresh, modern look. Their existing logo featured two cyclists, and I was tasked by Brash with retaining this concept while creating a new logo and brand identity.
Design / Results:
The new logo featuring two competitive cyclists, but this time they’re stripped back to clean silhouettes. The helmet shape and nose line make it clear they’re cyclists, while their bodies are cleverly formed by the letter ‘C’. I purposely designed the wordmark to have a hint of a bike-chain pattern, giving a subtle nod to the club’s cycling roots without being too on-the-nose. I also created a range of alternative logo options, one with a cyclists and others more abstract.
